NovaCodes

Terms of service

Last updated 1 October 2026

1. Who we are

NovaCodes (novacodes.app) sells digital gift-card codes, software activation links and travel eSIMs. We are based in Malé, Republic of Maldives. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

2. Gift cards and software

Every product is digital and delivered on your activation page on this site, and by SMS or email. Face values, regions and validity periods are stated on each product; a card marked with a region (for example US or Global) can only be redeemed in that region. We are a reseller: the issuer’s own terms apply to the use of each card or licence.

3. eSIMs

An eSIM is a mobile data plan for the countries, the amount of data and the number of days stated on its plan page. Unless the plan page says otherwise it has no phone number: internet calls and messaging work, regular calls and SMS do not. It is delivered as a QR code and install details on your activation page and under Account, My eSIMs.

You need a phone that supports eSIM and is not locked to one operator. Please check this before you buy: we cannot make an eSIM work on a phone that does not accept it.

Most eSIMs are delivered within seconds. A plan marked Special is prepared by hand: usually within 2 hours, 12 hours at most. The plan page says when the validity starts. An eSIM that is not installed by the date shown with it expires.

The networks are run by the local operators named on the plan page. Coverage and speed depend on them and on where you are, and a plan may slow down after its daily allowance, as stated on the plan. Added data (a top-up) is used on the same eSIM.

4. Orders and prices

Prices are shown in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) and, where offered, in US dollars (USD). The price you pay is fixed when you choose a payment method at checkout. An order is placed only after you confirm payment details; no stock is reserved before payment is confirmed. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example where stock has run out, a price was clearly wrong, or a payment cannot be matched, and will refund any amount received.

5. Payment

In the Maldives you may pay by bank transfer to the account shown at checkout. Transfers are matched automatically by amount and by the name of the account you registered with; a transfer from a different name may need manual confirmation. Everywhere, you may pay in USDT on the networks listed at checkout. USDT is a currency of its own here: an order paid in USDT is priced in USDT (the same figures as USD at retail). Send only USDT on the chosen network: other coins or networks cannot be recovered. USDT payments are final once confirmed on-chain.

If you hold a NovaCodes balance you may pay from it, in full or in part. An MVR balance pays MVR orders, a USD balance USD orders and a USDT balance USDT orders; we never convert one into another. The part taken from your balance comes back to it if the order is cancelled or runs out of time before it is paid.

6. Your balance

A NovaCodes balance is for purchases at NovaCodes. You may add money to it, and it also receives what we return to you: a refund of an order, an eSIM you cancelled, or an overpayment. It is not a bank deposit or an investment. We pay no interest, profit or reward for adding or keeping a balance, and it cannot be moved to another person.

Money in your balance is yours. It is a debt we owe you until you spend it, and it does not expire. When you first add money we ask where it should go back to: a bank account in your own name for an MVR or USD balance, or a USDT address for a USDT balance. You can change these details under Account, Balance; a change needs a code we send you, and we tell you when it happens.

We return the unspent part when you ask, usually within two working days, and always the way it came: an MVR or USD balance goes back to your bank account, and a USDT balance goes back as USDT, less the network fee. Bank money never becomes a USDT balance and USDT never becomes a USD balance. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. The one exception is credit we added without any payment from you: that is a gift (hiba) for purchases, it is used first, and it is not paid out in cash.

If you do not sign in, order or use your balance for 12 months, we send your balance back to the details on your account, so that your money does not sit with us unused. We tell you 30 days before, and anything you do in that time keeps it where it is. If we have no details for you, we contact you and keep the money safe for you until you tell us where to send it.

7. Stars

Stars are our thank-you. They are a gift (hiba) that NovaCodes gives by its own choice. They are not part of what you pay for: our prices are the same with or without them, and stars cannot be bought. Stars are not money or property. They have no cash value, they are never added to a balance or paid out, they cannot be sold, transferred or inherited, and holding stars does not mean we owe you anything. Stars we give you for inviting a friend who then shops with us are a gift in the same way.

You collect stars when an item is delivered, at the rates shown on your Stars page. At checkout you may use your stars: they lower the price of that order, by the amount shown to you before you place it, up to the whole order. That is a discount we give, not a payment you make. If the order is cancelled, the stars come back. If an item is refunded, the money you paid for it comes back as money, the part your stars covered comes back as stars, and the stars that item had earned are taken back, which can leave your stars below zero.

We may change the rates, correct stars given by mistake or through misuse, and pause or end the programme at any time. If we end it we intend to tell you about 30 days ahead so that you can use what you have; this is our intention, not something we are bound to. Wholesale accounts and orders placed through the API do not collect stars unless we say so.

8. Delivery

Stocked items are delivered within seconds of a matched payment. Items marked as delivered manually arrive within the time shown on the product. We watch for your payment automatically for a limited time; after that our team confirms it by hand. Keep the activation link private: anyone who has it can reveal the code or install the eSIM.

9. Refunds

Digital codes cannot be returned once revealed. If a code or link does not work, contact us within 24 hours with your order number and a screenshot; we will replace it or refund the amount paid. An eSIM that was delivered instantly and never installed can be cancelled under Account, My eSIMs and is refunded to your balance. See the refund policy.

10. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your Maldivian mobile number or your email address. You are responsible for keeping that mailbox or number secure. Give your real full name: it is used to match your bank transfers and on your orders.

11. Wholesale and the API

Wholesale prices are for accounts we have approved, and we may withdraw an approval. Wholesale orders are paid from your balance. API keys act in your name: keep them secret, and tell us at once if one may have leaked. What the API cannot deliver is refunded to the same balance automatically. Section 6 applies to a wholesale balance in the same way.

12. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for fraud, money laundering, resale in breach of an issuer’s terms, or with payment details you are not entitled to use. We may block accounts that do. Blocking an account does not take away money you paid in: we return it as section 6 says, unless the law requires us to hold it.

13. Liability

We are liable for the amount you paid for an order and no more. We are not responsible for the issuer’s or the mobile operator’s services, for losses caused by sharing your activation link, or for USDT sent to the wrong address or network. Nothing in this section limits what section 6 says about money you paid in.

14. Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. We may update them; the date above tells you when. Questions: use the contact details on the help page.
